Clover Pediatrics is a direct patient care practice and does not accept any medical insurance.  Payment in full is expected at the time of service.

We are happy to give you paperwork that you can file with your insurance after your visit. We encourage you to call the Customer Care number on your insurance card to find out if your plan covers an “out of network” doctor.

We order lab studies from DLO. Specialty labs may be ordered through Rupa Health. Cost of medication and laboratory tests are not included in consultation fees.

Some children will benefit from medication in addition to lifestyle modifications and recommended supplements. Some medication will help your child feel less hungry, decrease cravings or feel full faster. Other medication may improve your child’s metabolism. There are some FDA approved medications for children 12 years old and older for the use of weight management.

Dr. Meade may also recommend medications that are safe in children, but may not be FDA approved for weight management. We provide assistance and guidance through an prior authorization process. Any supplements or medications recommended will be reviewed by Dr. Meade including potential side effects and benefits, and she will answer questions you may have.

For prescription refills, please contact your pharmacy and request a refill even if you have no refills left. The pharmacy will fax your request to our office, asking for an authorization to refill.

Please allow 48 hours for refill requests to be completed. No prescriptions will be refilled after Friday afternoon at 3pm.
